No Tracking in FSX

Hi Vincent

I can't get TrackIR to work in FSX.

When I start FSX its recognized by the TrackIR software
I get the green and the blue light from the tracker unit

This is setup

* TrackIR 4
* TrackIR Version 4.1 Build 36
* Track Clip Pro (This has been the setting in the TrackIR utility as well)
* FSX Deluxe SP1+SP2
* Add On:
- Ultimate TerrainX Europe
- My Traffic X
- FS Global 2008
* Windows Vista Ultimate (SP1, 32-Bit)
* Windows Firewall
* ESET Nod32 Antivirus
* Q9550 CPU, 4GB RAM
* NVIDIA 8800GTS (Latest signed driver)

Troubleshooting done so far

* I've been running both TrackIR and FSX in elivated mode (Run as administrator)
* Reinstalled TrackIR completely (and the NatrualPoint catalogues)
* Deleted the catalogues

"C:\WINDOWS\WinSxS\x86_Microsoft.FlightSimulator.SimConnect_67c7c14424d61b5b_10.0.60905.0_x-ww_429211e9"

"x86_microsoft.flightsimulator.simconnect_67c7c14424d61b5b_10.0.61242.0_none_e079b46b85043c20"

"x86_microsoft.flightsimulator.simconnect_67c7c14424d61b5b_10.0.61259.0_none_55f5ecdc14f60568"

* Run the FSX repair utility

This led to not being able to load FSX at all (hangs at the spalsh screen). None of the SimConnect folders in WinSxS were restored

* Deleted the Logbook.BIN file (thought it might be corruped)

Still fatal error at start-up

* Recovered all the SimConnect folders and Logbook.BIN from my backup
* Uninstalled FSX SP2

Now FSX could start up again, but TrackIR still not working

* Re-installed FSX SP2
* Repeated the TrackIR uninstall and install process

Still no TrackIR

Any ideas?

Thanks!

exactly the same here,

TrackIR 4 + Track Clip Pro
c2d e6750
8800 gt
4gb ram

FSX Deluxe SP1+2
Ultimate Terrain X Europe

I can't get tracking to work in FSX, Fs9 works just fine.
Both set to Track Clip Pro, Head Moving in the preview box.
Reinstalled drivers and software still the same, I'm clueless.

Blue LED is coming on, when running FSX?

As well as the green LED?

Any other add-ins, that have a head latency setting?

3 green in the tracking screen, no red?

Both the blue and the green led are comming on when I run FSX.

What do you mean with:
"Any other add-ins, that have a head latency setting?"

The tracking works fine in the TrackIR software (3 green lights).

No, the only add-ons that are present are the one mentioned above.

After a clean install of FSX and FSX-SP2 I thought I still had the same problem as described above. However, when I then tried to start the TrackIR software after I launched FSX I got it to work!!!
