Speaking with Vincent today I was told that Smartnav works with IBM ViaVoice. He stated that the ViaVoice supplied by NaturalPoint is the IBM Native ViaVoice , but just a lower level than I had access to. He was kind enough to send me the commands that are used to use the voice click functions.

Via Voice commands

VOICE CLICKING COMMANDS

Left Click: LEFT_CLICK
Left Down: LEFT_DOWN
Left Up: LEFT_UP
Right Click: "RIGHT_CLICK
Right Down: RIGHT_DOWN
Right Up: RIGHT_UP
Middle Click: MIDDLE_CLICK
Middle Down: MIDDLE_DOWN
Middle Up: MIDDLE_UP
Double Click: DOUBLE_CLICK
Pause: PAUSE
Center: CENTER
Scroll: SCROLL
Enter: ENTER
Precision: PRECISION
Activate: ACTIVATE

As I work for IBM I have access to ViaVoice I have 10.5 installed.

There are no commands listed as above in the "What can I say". Saying any of the commands gets the response "Pardon" or "Please say again"

I have confirmed that the setting in SmartNav Control Panel, in Clicking is ticked for "Use speech recognition" and I get no error when setting this.

SmartNav is latest level.
How do I get this to work ?

Since you are running a newer install of ViaVoice, you will need to run it as a seperate application. Our enabling option, within the SmartNAV software, is only designed for our particular install of the voice software.

OK if I understand your saying I will have to create my own voice macros to do the operations .

I would say that the voice commands should be the same, but You should refer to the Via Voice software for more information regarding the voice commands, with your version.

Our check box option just enables the ViaVoice version we ship, it does have any specific commands.
