streaming single marker data using NatNet

Hi,
I am trying to stream data from Arena using the NatNet SDK. I am having problem streaming 3D positions of markers, not included in a rigid body or skeleton. Seems to be an issue on the Arena side (I am able to read rigid bodies on the client side).
Thanks,
Andrey

Hi Andrey,

I think we are trying to get the same type of data as you are. I was told (not by Natural Point directly) that the new version of Arena should be sending out the marker positions not included in a rigid body / skeleton, while the old versions don't.

I'm in the middle of trying to confirm this myself, so I might be giving you misinformation... but hope it helps.

Thanks. I am using the newest version (from Dec.1), but I have to load a rigid body profile for the streaming to work at all -otherwise the client crashes.

When I try to "trajectorize 2D data" (under Edit in the main menu), Arena gives a runtime error and crashes. What should I do to trajectorize markers?
Thanks,

Do you have a rigid body, or skeleton defined as well, when trajectorizing?

Please send an email with the exact steps to reproduce the crash and a sample data file which exhibits it to support@naturalpoint.com . Please also include a reference to this email thread.
