Hi Thomas,

We've updated the TrackIR interface recently, and Black Shark is one of the new games to utilize it. This new interface only works with version 4.1.036 or newer of the TrackIR software, which only supports the TrackIR 3 and TrackIR 4 hardware.

Please contact support@naturalpoint.com with your TrackIR serial number to see if your product qualifies for any upgrade discounts.

Seth,

Appreciate the feedback - quick question:

I've updated the software, by completely uninstalling, and then completely reinstalling with the newest update.

I then got the latest games update.

But - when I try to start Black Shark, the Track IR does not recognize that the game has started.

I bought the TrackIR package with the Clip pro already - so I'm just wondering what's going on.

I have Win Vista 32 - not sure what other details might be helpful - oh - Track IR works fine otherwise, motion is tracking, gauges are responding, etc...

When looking at the gaming list, is Black Shark listed there?

Have you tried running both the TrackIR, and the gaming application as an admin?

Running any firewall/antivirus software?

Did you perform a game list update using the TrackIR software?

So Black Shark is on the games list?

Try right clicking on the shortcut for both applications, and selecting run as admin.

Vincent,

Appreciate your quick response.

I ensured that both Black Shark (single player) application and TrackIR was set to "run as admin". Now, TrackIR does detect the Black Shark single player game.

BUT - It does not detect the multiplayer!

I guess there is a difference because it is a .bat and not a real application? Well, I tried to do a couple of things, but could not get anything to work. Any suggestions?

When I tried to "run as admin", then the multiplayer won't start, stating it can't find the blackshark.exe - editing security permissions didn't change anything.

Appreciate any help you can provide!

OK, so when not running the TrackIR software as an admin, it should still see the software start.
