TrackIR won't shut down. Must manually end process.

Using Vista Ultimate X64.
Running as administrator.
Installed software and updated game list.
Edited profiles to support my Track Clip Pro.
Whenever I start using my Track IR 4 system I do the following:
1) Plug in the USB cable to the SAME port (every time)
2) Start the Track IR software (4.1.0.36)
3) Verify position and movement with tracking and head views.
4) Start game and watch for blue LED.
The system works just fine even if I take a break and come back to it.
Then when I am done for the day I will shut down and I do the following:
1) Shut down the Track IR software.
2) Unplug the USB cable.
The problem is that after shutting down the software, the Track IR icon is still in the system tray.
I cannot click on it and there are no tool tips when I hover my mouse over the icon.
Opening task manger reveals that the TrackIR(x86) process is still running.
I manually end the process and after hovering over the system tray icon it will disappear.
I will attempt to reinstall the software and see if the problem goes away.
If there is a solution to this issue, I could not locate it after searching the forums.
Thanks for the help, and for making my games better than they have ever been!
