I don't know where to begin

First of all I'm having so many problems with this device that I don't even want to TRY to fix it. But here goes anyway.
I ordered TIR4 Pro in early Fall and use it a lot with IL2 Sturmovik and Flgiht Simulator X. When using FSX TIR seems to work for only about 30-45 minutes, then just stops working and I have to use joystick inputs to move my view around. In fact, I can't even open the TrackIR program to close it down! Not even through task manager can I end the process. I have to restart my computer and even then I get the BSOD. Even when I disconnect the USB. I tried disabling my antivirus/firewall/spyware software, disconnecting internet... everything I could think of.
That little problem I've just put up with. But after not using it for a month (because I didn't want to deal with that stupid problem, since there seems to be nothing in your so called, "trouble shooting" section about it.) but now when I use my TIR the pitch movement seems to be completely dysfunctional and movement in any other direction is very jerky. Meanwhile FSX is running at 25 FPS. It senses me looking down, slightly, but as soon as I begin to move my head back up, the motion freezes. I have to place my head back at "center" wait a moment, then it will finally catch up. I can look left and right again, but as soon as my head tilts up, the motion stops. Even moving in the X and Y axis makes things stop. And I KNOW I'm within the FOV of the unit, becuase it's where I used it before things went completely T.U. and double checked using the Tracking window. All motion is still jerky regardless of "smoothness" setting and profile modifications.
I opened the TrackIR software to take a look at the "heads" and "tracking" windows to see if anything was obstructing the reflectors. Not so! As soon as the heads would stop moving, you could still CLEARLY see all three reflectors at the center of the screen. I tried turning all of the lgihts off in the room, moving closer and further from the sensor, and even cleaning off the reflectors and sensor. Still no luck. When using Dot mode, the movement was great. But as soon as I changed to vector, the movement was all jerky again. I upgraded the software, tried EVERY different profile, and went through nearly every option for the last TWO hours without ANY progress and only a half dozen blue screens of death.
I really love the concept of this hardware, but frankly, it isn't worth the electrons used to power it, much less any form of currency. Right now I'm so frustrated I just want to burn the thing.
P.S. your support request form on the main site doesn't work, other wise I would not have made this extremely frustrated issue public.
Happy 105th anniversary of powered flight!
