I'm having some minor problems with my new TrackIR setup with FSX (acceleration) running on Vista. All of a sudden, my trim wheel is maxed out at full up, and cannot be changed, and my throttle now randomly goes to idle, and my joystick (Logitech Extreme3d Pro) no longer accesses the throttle range correctly. I have downloaded the most recent version of TrackIR but that does not seem to resolve the problem. I will remove the software and drivers and try a fresh install this weekend, but thought I would see if anyone had experienced similar problems or might have some clues as to what might be happening.

Are you running both the TrackIR software, and FSX as an admin?

Running any other software as an admin (joystick)?

Tried moving USB ports around?

Well, problem solved. I uninstalled TrackIR and then Re-installed and it appears to be working again. Im not sure what made it go wrong, but if it happens again, I'll report it back to this thread.

P.S. Track IR is running as admin, but not FSX.
