I have a problem which i am sure cant be unique, but can solve:

I have surround sound speakers so I dont use a hedset. I do however use teamspeak so need a mic. At the mo i am using an old headset with the trackclip pro attached and a boom mic, but this covers my ears so makes the sound less effective.

So I am looking for a set up which has a head band for the track clip, and a boom mic for speech, but no ear pieces. Any thoughts?? I cant find anything suitable on the net

I haven't seen anything like that. Most mic headsets have atleast one ear speaker. You could look at using a mic/phone headset, and remove the speaker.
