I have been unable to use trackir any more with FSX.
I have removed the program and deleted the folder as well, then downloaded the newer version, and now when I run trackir, the program have the green lights almost always on, if I put my hand in front it goes on, anything move the light goes on, and when I try to close, the program never close, it is always on, I have to go to task manager and force to close..
I used to see some blue dots for tracking these dots are never there anymore.
Please advise what to do.
I am running XP pro 32bit as admin.

In the following folder location, C:\Program Files\NaturalPoint\TrackIR4\Profiles, what is the file size for each profile?
Are you running any Anti-virus/Firewall software?

Hi there,
Sorry for being late to respond, as I was out of town.
I have checked the size of every profile.
The combat Flight is 4KB, default 3.92, Flight 1.82, another FS2004 1.83, FSX 3.69 and one from Wayne at 3.63.
I only run AVG as an anti-virus .

What version of the TrackIR software are you running?
Are you connecting directly to the PC, or using a hub?
have you tried a clean install of the software?
Remove the TrackIR software by doing the following:
a. Click "Start"
b. Click on the "Control Panel"
c. Click "Add/Remove Programs"
d. Find "TrackIR" and click "Change/Remove"
e. Once launched it will give the option to completely remove it.
f. Delete the NaturalPoint folder at the following location, C:\Program Files\NaturalPoint
g. Download and reinstall the software from the following location,

I am running version 4.1.036 the latest one.
I am using a Hub for connection.
I did remove the entire program and reinstall from fresh, the same way you have described, now it is ok with FS9 not FSX, even when I load exclusively FSX.
