TrackClip Pro Reversed Axis Erratic Movement
I have tried multiple versions, and reinstalled a few times now.
Having 2 major problems with the TrackClip Pro.
1) the Pitch (up and down) seem to be reversed
2) When the 3 lights line up if you turn your head more than that it makes your head look up and to the left.
System:
x64 Vista SP1
No A/V
Windows Firewall
TrackIR v4
Newest NaturalPoint Software
UAC is Off
I have selected Track Clip Pro and I'm looking at the heads in "Default Profile".
Clip is on left side of headset,
Long end of the clip is down,
Track IR is on left side of monitor,
Directly plugged into the PC,
seems to be tracking fine (3 green dots moving around).
Every axis except pitch disabled:
I can confirm when i move my head to look up the "your
head" and In-game head move in the opposite direction as
my head.
Every axis except yaw disabled:
I can confirm when the center light lines up with the
other 2 any point passed it causes the head to shift
up and right.
Pretty much the "Your head" Doesn't look like its tracking correctly but the green dots do. I cannot imagine what could be causing this.

Re: TrackClip Pro Reversed Axis Erratic Movement
When you reinstalled, did you delete the NaturalPoint folder?
Do you have any of the axes set to invert, or the camera orientation set to an angle other than 0?

Re: TrackClip Pro Reversed Axis Erratic Movement
I installed the 3 latest versions to see if it was an issue with a specific version of the software. I deleted the folder in between installs. No Axes are inverted. I tried it at 0 and 270(left side of my monitor). 270 would work better if I could get it to work because the green dots are smack dab right in the middle.
Head does a weird corkscrew when I turn to the right. When I turn to the left, once the middle light crosses the invisible line between the top and bottom lights, it goes crazy shift both heads up and to the right.
Again it works pretty well with the hat clip. Seems to only do this with the trackclip pro.. beginning to think i wasted 48 dollars.

I took a few screen shots. I put the clip on my desk.. lined up the lights in a almost perfect line and rotated slightly left and slightly right. Hopefully you'll understand what I mean now.
The Camera orientation was set to 0, lights were off, Preferred object size was set to 100px, Light filtering off, Track Clip Pro selected in profile.
Re: TrackClip Pro Reversed Axis Erratic Movement
OK,
Looking at the screen shots, you are a little close to the unit
Please send a copy of your profiles folder, and settings.xml to support.

I am having the EXACT same issue as here. Been using the hat clip with no problems, misplaced it, and now trying to use the Pro Clip and above problem is reproduced exactly. All settings identical.

You have selected TrackClip Pro in all the different profiles?
Camera rotation set to 0?
Camera LEDs option unchecked?

Yes on all. Looking through the different posts on this site, seems to be a common problem.

Vincent, I just purchased this last week and have the exact same problem. I just received it yesterday and installed it last night ( I will admit I have not had a lot of time to troubleshoot this).
Are you telling me that the software you sent me is out of date on a brand new purchase? I don't have a problem if it is but a note in the box would be nice indicating that I should "upgrade" after install. Now I'm also confused as you state in another thread to install the software somewhere other than "/program files" ( maybe only for Vista) but in this thread you say install in the "/Program Files". Can you clear this up for me, thanks.
