BVH test in Max Wow!!!

I downloaded your capoerira BVH file in to Max applied it to our hero model in our project and WOW AMAZING!!!!
I would like to find out how many cameras were used on this capture?

They used an 18 camera setup to do this capture if I remember correctly. The system is very impressive, you can get very good results with 8 and 12 camera systems too. I was one of their alpha/beta testers and I've seen how the system has gotten better and better as time goes by.

Thanks guys for the info on the set up. What would be the difference in mocap quality if this was done with a 6 or 8 camera set up?

Using a larger number of cameras generally provides more reliable tracking by increasing camera coverage from different angles. It can also increase the precision of the tracked markers for the same reason. You still get pretty good results with 6 and 8 cameras though.

Another important factor is how much space is available for setting up the camera capture volume. It would be hard to get a capture like the capoeira one in a 10 x 10 space. I think that one may have been done with a camera rig about ~17ft x ~17ft(?).
