EZ-USB Bulkloop Device?

Hey guys I just recently got a new computer and decided to install my TrackIR 2 on it. I follow the instructions for XP and when I get to where I should be detecting the ECT Naturalpoint trackIR, it finds EZ-USB Bulkloop Device (3.03.0000.2). Then whenever I try to start the software, it gives me the error: "The software could not connect with the trackIR device." I have tried the troubleshooting here:
http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/06- ... er_10.html
1a-1c, and that hasn't helped either.
Thanks

Are you connecting directly to the PC, or using a hub?
Have you tried moving USB ports?
What version of the software are you using?

It sounds like the firmware on your TrackIR 2 has become corrupted, preventing the TrackIR from starting up properly. (which causes it to show up as the incorrect USB device) In most cases when this type of hardware failure occurs it is not repairable.
