So, I bought this day before yesterday, installed the latest version of the NaturalPoint software, and loaded up FSX.
It works fine (awesome in fact) if I want to look outside, pan from left to right, and even to look up. But, when I go to look down at my instruments, it acts as though there is something restricting my head from looking down, and then when I look a little further down, it jumps from a view from just above the instruments to looking at the floor/my seat, and spins uncontrollably until I press F12 in order to re-center it.
I've tried searching for this on this forum, but obviously "can't look down" didn't return any hits.
Any help/advice?
Can't Look at Instruments ...
Re: Can't Look at Instruments ...
How high do you have the unit set above your head?
Do you have the 3 green dots centered in the tracking screen, view -> tracking?

Re: Can't Look at Instruments ...
It's set about four inches above my head, and I have three dots (pretty much in the middle) on the screen on the Natural Point software readout.
I'll try it with the Pro clip and see if that makes any difference.

Tried it with the Pro clip and while the "Normal Flight" option doesn't work for it, when I use the "Combat Flight" mode, it works fine. Strange, but it works just the same anyways ...

Try looking up more than normal then hit the center key. Also works in reverse if you can't look up. In that case, look down and hit center. Works for me.
