Tir Software hang on exit

Hello.

I have Track IR 4 with vector. Works ok. But when I go close the application it hangs and I have to end the process manually.

After doing so for more than a year, I decided to bother you guys with this issue. Tried searching for this solution here, but no luck so far.

Are you running any other applications in the background?

Connected directly to the PC, or using a hub?

What version of the TrackIR software are you using?

Have you tried a clean install of the software?

Remove the TrackIR software by doing the following:
a. Click "Start"
b. Click on the "Control Panel"
c. Click "Add/Remove Programs"
d. Find "TrackIR" and click "Change/Remove"
e. Once launched it will give the option to completely remove it.
f. Delete the NaturalPoint folder at the following location, C:\Program Files\NaturalPoint
g. Download and reinstall the software from the following location,

Tks Vincent, that solved it.

I was using version 4.1.034. No background programs, besides the unavoidable ones. Connected directly to my PC, no Hub use.

I get the same, try to close, it hangs, right click on tab at bottom of screen, click close and get message it has stopped working do I wish to close. Then it closes.

Vista Home Premium SP2, nothing in background and I run pretty clean. Direct to PC-USB, update says I am running latest version.

Latest motherboard bios installed?

It is something we are looking into
