Simple question! (I hope...)

Hi,

I just bought myself a TrackIR GX. Software installation was easy (version 3.1), everything works!

I use it to fly in FS2004, but there is one thing very very annoying:

When I go up, it is as if I am pushed down in my 'seat' and so I see my whole cockpit moving up a bit. If I go down, the whole cockpit moves down a bit, as if I am lifted out of my seat a bit. This is not something I control with the movement of my head! Of course with this version of TrackIR I can only control the view to go to left/right/up/down, not control my position relative to the cockpit.

I use the top of the cockpit relative to the horizon to determine if I am flying level, so I really only want TrackIR to translate when I am moving my head up, down, left or right. Nothing else!!

Is this possible and if so, how do I set it up?
Thanks!

Is this occuring within the default aircraft, or add-ons?

Are you running any other add-ons, for FS9?

Are you running 3.13, or the TrackIR software?

Hello Vincent,

- It's occuring within the default Cessna 172 Skyhawk.
- I am using different scenery (NL2000) and I have installed one add-on aircraft (C152).
- I am running software version 3.13

Thanks!!

Is the single dot attached to a hat/visor/forehead?
Is the single dot attached to a hat/visor/forehead?
I have it attached to my forehead. And the tracking is done very well as long as I am flying straight & level, the problem only occurs when descending or ascending...
