I'm building again. This time I've gotten Vista Home Premium 64 bit and in an effort to do some pre-emptive troubleshooting, I'm simply trying to make sure all my "important" stuff is compatible and/or has good, workable driver support not only for Vista but Vista x64.

The latest TrackIR software has full Vista support (32 and 64-bit)

Thanks Vincent. In all honesty, I'm probably going to get a shiny, new TIR5 to go along with my new rig (I'll reuse my CM chassis and toss that saved coin towards a new trackIR

), but still have some reservations on my OS as I have 2 squad mates that run 64 bit OS's (Windows 7 and Vista HP x64) and they both claim there's some sporadic stuttering with their TIR 3 Pros (both use this unit) and the latest software (prior to the new v5 software release anyway). This is relevant to me as both my units are 3 Pro w/vector.

I know there are enough x64 users that bugs should be ironed out by now, but one can never be too cautious when it comes to compatibility.

I haven't heard of any issues, with the TrackIR 3/64-bit, and the 4.1.036 software.
