Tracking Window Crash

I have a TrackIR4 with the 4.1.37 software. Even with older versions almost everytime I go into the Tracking view window it crashes. I can go in to the Heads or Gauges view fine. The Tracking View tends to crash especially if I open the Settings. I have reinstalled. Tried new USB ports.
I have a nVidia 8800GT. Newest Drivers. Any sugestions?

What OS are you using?

Latest version of DirectX installed?
