I just had a vision of cruising down the street in my car. I press a button on my steering where and move my head in one direction or another.

From that head movement, my stereo volume changes, my blinker goes on, ect.

Mount a TIR device to a dashboard and use a toggle switch which would mount by your thumb. Then head movements in your car translate to commands to the vehicle.

That would rock!

Or the toggle switch could be mounted on the floorboard.... kinda like the old American vehicles where the high brights were on the floor by your left foot.

You could even have the device clip to your sun visor. Just a small sensor that would send commands to the main CPU unit under the dash that would then integrate with the vehicle.

Far fetched but would be awesome.

You could just buy a car that has things like that integrated.

The new BMW 745 has the iDrive system that can do most (of not all) of what you just mentioned and a whole lot more.
