I have just received my TrackIR 5 with TrackClip Pro and I decided to test it with FS9.

However, whenever I throttle the engines up, my view starts to shudder.

Does anyone know what's happening and is there any way to rectify it?

Thanks

Are you using the software on the disk or off the NP site? It is always a good idea to use the web based software.

I cannot help much more at the moment sorry as I am usuing a TIR4, the latest softwear and FSX at the moment.

Are you using any add-on applications with FS9?

Yes I do use add-on software: I have a large collection of it. But at the time I was using the default Learjet 45 but with scenery add-ons and others.

And I have only install the software off the website, because my TrackIR didn't come with a CD.

Thanks

Do you have active camera installed?

FSInn?

Anything with a head latency option?

Just got mine as well (14 May) and am experiencing the same effect, lite to annoying cockpit shaking evening with my head sitting still. This happens in two different combat flight sims, IL-2 Forgotten Battles and StrikeFighters 2. Did not occur with TIR4 and am using the newest version of the beta software. Any ideas gents?

What do you have the smoothing option set to?

Looking at the camera view, what do you see there?

What version of Windows are you using?

Does it also occur if you use your TrackIR4?

If you install the 4.x software (it can coexist alongside 5.x), does that exhibit the issue as well?

I do have active camera installed, but I think the problem has now been solved.

The only problem I get now is that when I moved my head, my TrackIR loses contact with the TrackClip Pro. Im not sure why.

Can bright sunlight intefere with it?

Thanks for your replies

Is your camera moved to the left side of the monitor?

If there is an open window behind you, sunlight could be an issue.

I have the same issue with the shaking. In Flightsim X after I hit the F7 key twice I get a shaking that wont stop. End up turning off TrackIR to finish the flight.
