Studdering Head Movements????

Post by ogiedogg »

My TIR 4 Pro is brand new. I've had it since Mon. 5/4/09. Everything is working fine except when hloding my head completely still and at any angle, neutral or up or down. The view studders in and out in vey small increments. You can see it in the heads view in the 4.1.37 SFTW. or in the 5.03 beta. This makes it almost impossible to try to click pit controls due to the studdering... Tried 100% smoothing, moved from a USB 1.1 (which I thought was a 2) to a powered 4 port 2.0 hub. No matter what I do the head will not stop this studdering movement... Any help would be awsome because I love this product, and is awsome to fly with...Thanks again for any help.. I have also contacted Support by phone, I did what they said and haven't recieved a reply yet...

Do you get the movement, only when zoomed in?

Which flight application are you using?

How far away from the camera are you locate?

Are you using the TrackClip, or TrackClip Pro?

Answers to your questions:
1. No the studdering occurs thru the full range of motion. The more zoom though the more exzageration.
2. Primarily DCS Black Shark, but i also fly FSX. Haven't flown FSX since DCS BS...
3.About 31/2 to 4 feet, I put the unit atop my 46 inch monitor, it also happend when I had it lower at almost head level.
4. The Hat Clip, It came with my purchase of my Track IR 4 Pro.

Can you send me a few screen shots of the tracking screen/camera view screen?

Can you send me a copy of the profile you are using for 4.1.037?

The profile I use is either the 1 to 1 or the Smooth profile. For both 4.1.37 or 5.03 beta.
