Received IR5 on Monday with hat clip. Was lucky enough to be in the 30 day period an NP let me return IR4 and get the IR5.Initial install went great. Installed Web Beta SW 3. hooked up USB direct 4 red dots both left an right green lights. Set to default and flew good. I'm still learning so I thought default was best.Since that initial set up sometimes Both lights and TrackIR works fine. Other times either left or right green light comes on.Sometimes nothing when I double click the icon except the screen for the program. TrackIR does not come on. With FSX on no Trakir response. Have changed USB ports. Uninstalled -reinstalled.Used REVO Uninstaller everything removed. Machine is clean FSX flys great without IR. When I try to shut off IR program MS says program not responding send a report to MS. Not sure why sometimes everything works and other times not. Maybe I'm Jinxed. Would appreciate any help. Thanks

What version of Windows are you using?

Running any firewall/antivirus software?

Do you have SP1/SP2 installed for FSX?

Thanks for the quick response. Have Symantec, Super Anti Virus and Malware Bytes all were disabled during installation. Have SP1/SP2 both. Several Carenado and other aircraft add ons. Also have another problem can't seem to get a full panel on the monitor unless I bend my neck and face the floor. Virtual works for full panel but TrackIR doesn't seem to work with Virtual maybe there is something I overlooked.

Which profile do you have selected for FSX?

What do you have the speed settings set to?

You should have full view range in the VC.

Speed setting is .1 Profile is Default. Or at least that is what shows. I assumed that if it shows default I would have to do nothing else as far as setting up. Played around with the speed & Smoothing. Was too quick and driving me nuts.Been trying to follow the 22 page tutorial. but things are confusing. Having changing views when trying to fly the gauges takes a little getting used to. Slowing things down seem to help. Thanks

OK, a speed setting of .1 is going to require a large movement of your head, to see a movement within the gaming view

What is your smoothing set to?

I was playing with Speed 5 and Smooth 25 settings. You are right about head movements. Stopped for a break. Went back and now have previous problems. Game is "Frooze". When I rebooted turned Tracker back on had a left green light. Hat and clip on. Rebooted again turned Tracker on. No left light but turned FSX on and rt green light. Both Tracker and FSX are turned off however rt green light is still on. Only thing live on my computer is your web site and my sending this to you. My computer runs fine Tracker just won't.

Good Morning:
Turned computer on this AM. No green lights as it should be. Turn on the Tracker no left green light. Had the hat and clip on. Turned on FSX and the rt green light came on recognizing FSX. No left green light. Maximized Tracker no response.Last night when I turned off FSX rt green light stayed on even though FSX wasn't running. Computer checks out fine.

Just turned everything back on again.Tracker first got a left green light than FSX rt green light. Went back to Tracker screen everything works. Now if i could just figure out how to make this thing work. I crashed many times. Don't have a clue how to tune this thing. Sure not plug and play. After a while intimidation sets in. With it running correctly hopefully I can figure out how to enjoy it. Sure the manual tells everything I need to know just hasn't "sunk" in yet. Thanks again.

What version of Windows are you using?

Plugged directly into the PC, or using a hub?
