Just switched over to the trackclip pro (love it)

I just shut down the camera and hung up my headphones when I noticed the 3 leds are still lit on the trackclip pro.
Is this normal?

Otherwise WOW! Amazing tracking.. I got a few extra inches of travel from side to side while zooming in which really let me get around the cockpit of the Black Shark making my DCS profile work just the why I wanted it to...

The LED's do stay on all the time they are plugged into your USB socket. I have had mine sice it came out and they still work perfectly.

WOW was my first reaction when I swapped over from the clip and no comment from the dot's that used to come whith your TIR.

I had the same question. Wouldn't this cause these lights to wear out more quickly? They are even on when my PC is in Standby.

The TrackClip PRO is powered over USB. So, the lights will be on as long as it's plugged in, like any other device that is connected to its power supply. The LEDs should last as long as you need them, but you can always unplug it for peace of mind, if you prefer.

The LEDs have a rating of 100,000 hours, or approx. 11.7 years.
