Track IR Version 4.1 Build 37 crash
Posted: Thu Jun 11, 2009 7:48 am
Hello there.
Did not manage to find a post regarding my problem.
PROBLEM:
--------
TrackIR (Version see title) crashes using
[View]/[Tracking]/[Settings]. It tends to crash always after a short period (say 60 secs), but it crashes imdtly if you try to change the "light filter" setting, especially to a high value (> 200).
2nd PROBLEM:
------------
If you manage to get in a filter on, value 240 BEFORE the crash happens (difficult, do not click on the slider, click on the arrows 110 times, but hurry up
), the value will be 130 again after restart. So it seems it does not save the settings as well.
Maybe the reason is the same.
I was using 4.1 Build 30, iirc, for quite a while. Did not have any problems or didn't notice them.
Upgraded recently for Arma2.
My specs:
Windows XP Pro german, autoupdate on.
Track IR on 4-port USB 2.0 Hub, 2A ext, three devices total (rudder pedals bus powered, joystick ext. powered, track ir).
Note: If you do NOT use the VIEW/Tracking or VIEW/Tracking/Settings, it runs stable for hours. No complains.
Best regards
Benthal
