Hi guys,

TIR4 won't work with ARMA II - have downloaded the updated game list, TIR activates Green and Blue LED when ARMA II runs and shows up in the controllers list as active, but doesn't work in the game.

Am on ver 4.1 build 34 and have tried updating to build 37 and 5 beta. Both exe files halt soon after starting setup and when I try to uninstall 4.1.034, using 'remove software' via control panel, I get an error - 'can't find module'

Help!

What version of Windows are you using?

So both software applications crash, when runing there install applications?

XP SP3 and I've discovered if I let the installers run long enough then Windows returns a cannot extract files (or similar) error.

I've also downloaded both files multiple times using different browsers

Can you download the software on another system, install it there, then copy the TrackIR folders to this system?

Will do - and I'll report outcome. I didn't think to try this as I thought registry entries might have been changed/created.

They are, but aren't required to be preinstalled to run the software.

Hi Vincent - installed on another XP system - copied Trackir files to the main PC - all appears to be working and now runs in ARMA2, which was my original problem.

Supplementary question - I've got a Trackir 5 coming - can I just plug it in and it'll go, now that I've got 5 beta up and running?

yep, same software will work fine
