Running VISTA 64 Bit Home Premium SP2
Track IR 5 running 5.0.230 (Build 5977)

On many occasions after shutting down Track IR 5 I see a Trackir5.exe still running as a process in Task manager. If I restart Track ir then shut it down I then see 2 instances of TrackIR5.exe running in task manager each slightly different memory use values but always around 32,000Kb.

So what is happening here ?

Sounds like the softwware isn't shutting down properly.

Any other applications running in the background?

Connected thru a hub, or directly to the PC USB ports?

...same here sometimes.

TrackIR DIRECTLY conected to the motherboard - more direct could only be in my brain

..strange thing it only behaves like this from time to time....

In my case via a powered hub. As to other applications running in the background just the usual stuff that loads with VISTA and anti virus/Malaware software.

Any keyboard software installed?
