I ve read several threads in this forum about future NextGen-Console-Support for your products.
This is great news for me as my friend and me are curious what will Il2 be like on playstation 3.
Would be handy for GT5 and other racing games too.

As we also consider to move from TrackIR3+Vec Exp to TrackIR5 Id like to know how this support could look like if there will be one. Is it only up to the console firmwares and game developers or will we also need another TrackIR Version (console version or special multi system version?).

To make it short: I don't want to buy a TrackIR 6, offering PS3-Support :)

xbox360 is going to use natal and ps3 is going to use ps3eye for motion tracking.

Yea, heard about them and Im happy about such game controller progress. However, those devices don't have to be the only tracking hardware. The only comments I ve found from TIR staff were positive. Means I haven't seen any comments yet, saying that they did stop thinking about / developing a TIR solution for these consoles

It is something we are still looking into, but can't really say more than that, at the present time.
