Vista install problems.

Hi all, having problems installing my TrackIR on Vista64.

Ive gone through all of the install instructions but when I start up the software the camera doesnt have the 3 dots showing on it like it used to on my xp install and it doesnt show any tracking when I get my track hat level with the camera. But the blue light at the bottom of the camera does flash every few seconds or so.

Any ideas on what could be causing it not to track?

What version of the TrackIR software are you using?

Connected directly to the PC, or thru a hub?

I'm using version 4 and i'm connecting it directly to my PC.

It's 4.1.028

You will need to download and install the latest version of the TrackIR software, as Vista 64-bit support wasn't available until at least version 4.1.030

Ive installed version 4.1.037 but am still getting the same problem.

My track clip still is not tracking. It's saying under device info that no device is found each time i start TrackIR. It was saying this before I updated to 4.1.037 aswell.

If you look in the system device manager, do you see the TrackIR listed there?

Have you tried reinstalling the hardware (move USB ports, and install the sdrivers with the latest software)?

Ahh, got it all sorted now.

The drivers for the camera needed updating.
