SmartNAV software and windows 7

I just ordered a new pc and am thinking about installing windows 7 when it arrives. Will the SmartNAV software work under windows 7, and how will a high resolution (1900-1200) effect the accuracy of the pointer?

I currently have the latest software running under Windows 7.

The screen resolution would be independent of the acurracy of the camera.
