Z-Axis for FPS games,etc.

I just read about the TrackIR in a sidebar in the July issue of PC Gamer (Page 114). I am so happy to see this technology getting cheaper and easier to use! I can't wait until OLEDs (or something better) make head mounted displays lighter and cheaper. The marriage of these two technologies would be great! OK, anyways, I was just wondering if there are any plans for adding a 3rd axis? I know it might require more than one tracking dot, (and obviously a mouse only has 2 dimensions) but it could be used with an FPS as a leaning command by rotating on the z axis for example Or it could sense proximity by getting closer and farther away from the IR receiver? Just a thought.

Hello:

Great idea, and something we will do in the future for sure. We are still looking to get written into a FPS game, so we can have direct control over lean and such. I know I would love this feature.
