Track IR5 not working with games
Hello all,
I recieved my track IR5 today, I install the software as per the insturctions..software first before pluggin in the hardware, the LED on the left is illuminated and in the final 5.0 software the program tracks my head movement, I tried to run Aces High 2 and Rise of flight but neither game worked, the blue light or the right hand led never lite up either.
I also tried to use the 5..0 beta 4 drivers but again the same problem.
I tried to run the track ir 5 software as administrator and my games as admin and that made no effect either

I assume both games are being supported (I don't know them)...
Is there some adjustment IN the games where the TrackIR is to be selected "as means of input", maybe?
For example: after starting the TIR-software (seeing the tracking) and the Flightsimulator 2004 software (both as admin), I first need to select a flight. And IN the flight - and in the "Virtual Cockpit only" - I have the tracking working then...
The right LED (it's green not blue) does come on not before I have started the flight, though...
Does this help you a little maybe?

no theres no adjustments, Ive also tested it in battle of britain 2 and IL2 and I still can not get it to work
..will check arma2 in a mo also.

I just got it working by using the Track IR4 drivers, none of the beta 5, or final 5 works...im pretty disapointed with natural point at the moment

Hi guys. Unfortunately, something went askew when the 5.0 Final software version built on our internal machine. We're working on a fix, and hope to have it out soon.

I'm hopeful that we can address this soon, and have a fix out before the end of the day. I can't guarantee until we have a dev look at the problem, though.

OK, we have a working final version available for download. The previous final version was actually working correctly, but we had a portion of the code pointing to the wrong part of our server when it was building internally. Everything should be functioning normally now.

This is the same as beta 05, right? The update feature tells me I am using the most recent software. No need to upgrade to the final then?

It is the same, so technically you'll get the same functionality, but I'd recommend upgrading to Final anyways--if no other reason than to normalize the support pipeline, in case something pops up for you down the road that our tech support needs to troubleshoot.
