Will I have any problems with this using a plasma tv?

I usually game on my 50 inch 1080p pioneer plasma rather than a computer monitor. I'm thinking about getting a Track IR 5 to complete the setup but will it work OK with a display that large?

The display size shouldn't be a problem at all. How far away would you be sitting from the TrackIR when it's mounted? How high above your head will it be?

Thanks. I'd probably be 5-7 feet away. On top of the TV I estimate it would be <2 feet above head height.

Also, do you anticipate that DIRT 2 will be supported?

You should probably be fine at that range. I would recommend using the TrackClip PRO, as its active LEDs can add a bit more distance to the tracking.

For some reason, CM has been pretty tight-lipped with me about DIRT 2. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be implemented, based on it's heritage and our history with CM. But, I haven't had a confirmation from them about it. I'll ping 'em again and see if they respond. Feel free to chime in on their forums with a request. That is, in part, how TrackIR got implemented in GRID.
