Looking for advice

A little advice: I have Track IR 4 with Track Clip Pro that works flawlessly for the most part on a system with limited power. Should I upgrade to the IR 5 software? What would be the plus and minuses of this move.?

Check out this thread. It's specific to use with ArmA 2, but the same principles apply, especially to combat flight and racing sims. Our most recent newsletter also briefly addresses the improved in-game experience.

Do I need the new hardware also or can I use the new program with the Track IR 4 hardware?

You can use the latest TrackIR software, with the TRackIR 4.
