HI,

when I run Il2 normally, the instant il2 title screen comes up, the trackir lights come on and then in game it works fine.

If I run up hyperlobby and then connect to a game, when il2 title screen comes up the trackir lights stay off and in game it's not working.

Does anyone know a fix?

Am using a tIR4 with latest trackIR 5 software.

I found the cause of the issue. I'll post the details here as it may help people in the future

I am using windows7.

This problem was also affecting me on Rise of Flight and odd occasions before but I'd never put the pieces together.

My Usual logon is a non admin, but I was having to launch hyperlobby (and then IL2) as an administrator. TrackIR runs normally as a std user.

I think it was failing to work as the 2 apps were running as different users.

I simply launched TrackIR as an admin and IL2 started working when launched through hyperlobby.

As a bonus Rise Of Flight started working like this too. (that's because RoF has to run as admin).

Now I've permanently made my TrackIR shortcut run as an admin (right click, properties and tick the run as admin box).
