Hi,

Version 4 of the software works ok but when I try version 5 the display area is blank as shown in this picture.

As you can see from the status lights it recognises the camera and is tracking ok, just no display.

I am using the latest drivers for my video card (GTX260) and am using Windows Vista Ultimate. No other programs are currently running.

Any ideas?

Have you tried using an older version of the video card drivers?

What screen resolution are you running in?

Do you have the software maximized?

Yes. I started out with an older version and upgraded it to the latest when I got this problem. Neither worked.

1680 x 1050, but I just tried switching to 1024 x 768 to see if that made any difference. It didn't.
Do you have the software maximized?
Yes, though I shrank it down for the screen print. The whole of the right hand side is white, as is the curves area in Advanced.

One other thing I notice is the v5 Trackir software is using around 30% CPU when running, which is a lot considering I have a powerful E8600 CPU.

I was having this exact problem (I posted it in the TIR5 section) and have just resolved it by removing the ASUS Gamer OSD and Smartdoctor software which came with my card (GTX285).

Hope this helps.

I looked at your other post and noticed you updated the GamerOSD and SmartDoctor apps to fix it. Once I did that it solved the problem.

Thanks so much for your help. Can't think how you figured out that was the problem!
