Track IR 5 Installation

I am currently running TIR4 pro with software version 4.1. I now have TIR5 hardware and have downloaded the latest software, version 5.0.Final.exe. Do I need to uninstall the version 4.1 software before installing the new software?

No, as you can have both versions installed at the same time.
