We have a setup of 12 V100 cameras and we want to add 6 more to increase our captured volume. It is written in your site that the v100's are "retired". Does this means we cannot buy more?
If so, are the v100R2 compatible, can we mix them?

Correct the V100 R1 cameras are no longer in production.

You can purchase the R2 cameras, and they will work just fine, in conjunction with your R1 camera setup.

You will need to update to the latest software to have driver support for the newer cameras.
