Camera Positions

Post by sandrohimself »

Hello, we're using an 8 cameras setup and were wondering how important it is to have all cameras in the same distance to the middle of the capture volume, or isn't it important at all?

Thanks in advance

The setup area does not requie a perfect square.

We have several customer that have an oddly shaped setup area. As long as the cameras are all aimed at the center, and are not being obstructed you should be able to get a capture volume setup.

What type of setup are you looking at?

It would be really helpful to get some information and suggestions for camera configurations and setup especially for non-optimal capture spaces.

No special setup actually, our room just isn't a perfect square.

Thanks for you answer, it helped a lot.
