Emulation of VR helmets

I realise this would be a low-priority feature, but I was wondering whether it's technically feasible for the TrackIR to pretend to be any of the VR helmets and/or glasses that have been available in the past?
I'm a fan of an old Looking Glass game called "Terra Nova", and that has command-line options to enable in-game head movements using any of the following devices:
* Virtual IO iglasses
* Forte VFX1 Headgear
* VictorMaxx CyberMaxx
I would dearly love to be able to finally try out this functionailty using the TrackIR !
Is there any hope??
(edit)
Well I've changed my mind about this being a minimal-usefulness thing. I hadn't investigated this stuff before now, but there seem to be enough older games and sims with native support for one or more of these devices that I suddenly feel that this could be of great benefit!
For instance, the following page lists native support of the VFX1 (either built-in or available via a downloadable driver) for all of the following sims (among a great many other games):

USNF
ATF
Marine Fighters
Flight Unlimited
Flight Unlimited II
EF2000
Commanche 3
Flying Corps
JetFighter III
F22 Lightning II
Descent 2
MechWarrior 2
I'd hazard a guess that perhaps Flight Unlimited 3 and Fighters Anthology would also apply, although they don't appear.
I realise that not all of those are absolute classics, but some of them will always be great and I'd love to breathe new life into the ones I own with TrackIR !
I found the following URLs by searching for the product names at google...
This web site looks like a very useful resource for the CyberMaxx:
http://www.zardoz.net/technology/cybermaxx/
Likewise this for the i-glasses:
http://iglasses.weirdoz.org/software.html
And you can download the VFX1 SDK here:
