Maybe already covered here, but would it be possible enhance TIR to zoom the view/ cockpit in lockon just by moving you head forwards and backwards.

This would add a great deal to realism in flight sim that uses cockpit zoom.

The cockpits are very deatailed in lockon and would be great if we could zoom in on particular panels when need

Maybe, how do you control the zoom feature in Lock On now?

Hiya,
I just set my cockpit to a certain distance using the keypad * and /, at the start of the mission and leave it there for the duration.

Or i would have to keep taking my hands of my HOTAS.

Jim,

The cockpit zoom function can be mapped to a joystick axis (throttle type) and works with the mouse scroll wheel by default. The mouse is much more precise than the keyboard. It certainly would be excellent if TIR2 could do
zoom as well. Is there a possibility?

Yes, if it maps to a joystick axis then we can probably do it at some point in the near future, or we might do a keyboard interface.

How about a mouse click when you nod your head forwards. And dragging when you keep your head forward positioned. This isn't top priority. Just curiosity.

Trackmonkey,

Thanks, that is a good idea. We are already looking at something very similar to what you suggest. this could be sometime down the road at the moment
