Hello,
I just become proud user of trackir 5 and trackclip PRO.
I have following question: my PC is running 24/7 so do I need to unplug my trackclip PRO USB from my PC to prolong life time of those LED's on trackclip PRO, as it looks to my they are working all the time even when trackir application is shutdown.

The IR LEDS have a usable life of 100,000 hours, which works out to about 11 years.

I've had ones working for about 3 years, with the LEDs on 24/7.

when i turn off my computer my LED's are still working.
how can i handle it?

If the USB port is still transmiting power, then you would need to unplug the device
