Trackir 4 pro (trackclip) Win 7 64bit issue.....

Hi, I have Trackir 4 pro and latest v5 software...Trackir is working fine in win7 64bit but everytime I start the software FOR THE FIRST TIME trackir is not responding...after restarting the soft everything is fine and trackir is working lika a charm....why is that? Only on first software run trackir is not responding....second run and further - trackir is responding as should...

What are you computer specifications?
What video card drivers are you using?
Are you connected directly to the PC, or using a USB hub?

drivers 186.18
connected directly to the PC...
no such probs in XP....
but i found a workaround...before runnnig trackir software I make sure my clip pro is directly in front of trackir device (only few cm`s away)..then it detects....

I can reproduce the same problem on Windows XP x64 Edition with TrackIR 4:PRO. The TrackIR 5.0 Software sometimes forget to turn on the IR lights on the camera. The issue can be "solved" by holding the vector clip in front of the camera while starting the software.
TrackIR Software 4.1.037 works flawless.
System specs: GA-MA770-UD3 (1.0), Phenom II 810, 8 GB DDR2-800 (Samsung), GA-NX96T512-HP (1.0), Windows XP x64 SP2, GeForce Driver 195.62.

Just to add one more name on the list. I too can replicate the issue and found the same solution. I hold the clip a few inches away an it kicks on like it should...
TrackIR 4 Pro + Clip
Win7 64 Ultimate
I am having some jittery issues with the 5 software when I move my head around. I don't have these issues in software v4. I think I will back up. I have adjusted the null points to try to eliminate but then it's taking more head movement than I am use to.
Any way..

Are you connecting directly to the PC, or using a hub?
Any other USB devices plugged in next to the TrackIR, on the motherboard?
Are you using the TrackClip, or TrackClip Pro?

I am connecting directly to the PC (back of box - direct to mobo)
Yes, USB plug adjacent to TrackIR USB
Track Clip.
- No worries, I have gone back to v4 software and it's perfect. Although I like the GUI of the v5 software, the jitters are gone in v4. Tried and true over the past couple of years...
