Hello All,

Not too long ago I remember reading somewhere (can't quite remember where exactly) that NaturalPoint was working on a sub $500 OptiTrack kit and something was said about more news coming up on GDC. So... can anyone point me to links with more info on the subject or maybe someone from NP could jump in and give us an update on this project?

Hi Leo. I believe that the article you're referring to is actually from several years ago, when OptiTrack was very early in its conceptualization stage. As product design matured, we increased price points to accommodate the higher component cost necessary for high fidelity tracking. There are no plans for a sub-$500 mocap system in our future.
