TiR Pro 4 with v5 software: settings not saved

Everytime I start up the version 5 software on Windows 7 64 bit I have to set everything up from default: that I use the Clip, smoothing, etc. etc. everything. The only thing that is saved, is my preset with changed function keys! On my previous system everything was remembered and I never ever had to open the interface of the software. How can I make sure everything will stick?

As I recall, this could have something to do with both Vista and 7 locking down Program Files folders by default. Try uninstalling the TrackIR software and then reinstalling in a new location, like C:\TrackIR5. Alternately, running the TrackIR.exe app as an admin might also lift this restriction. I'd recommend trying the former first, though, as running your TrackIR software as an admin will also require you to run all games as admin for them to interface.

If neither of those steps fix the issue, let us know.

Yes, that was it! I reinstalled the software into my games directory and everything is saved immediately as it should be! Awesome! Thanks!
