POV mapping

The old URGear, for all its quirks, had one nice feature: you could create a virtual joystick where the joystick's POV would be replaced by the head movement (you could also replace any axis with other controllers - fantastic feature!)

Would it be possible to do that with TrackIR? It would allow to use many old games without hassles, keyboard emulation, etc.

You might try using PPJoy which is a virtual joystick and will allow you to do what you are asking with TrackIR

1. You need 2 programs, I have included the links to help make it easier for you:

PPJoy joystick device driver

TrackIR2Joystick http://www.dikant.de./index.php?option= ... d=12&func= fileinfo&parent=category&filecatid=8

Let me know if this helps.

I am still awaiting for my TrackIR3Pro (as they sold out in Poland), but for now it does not look good...

PPJoy does not recognize the input from my Saitek X36 USB AND it does not have POV mapping.
