Win7 64-bit, TIR 4 with clip , TIR 5 software and FSX

I do have a problem with TrackIR 4, 5 software and FSX (SP2 on basic default settings FPS locked 25).
Sometimes the view is jerky when looking around but most of the time, zooming in and out is not smooth.
Also, and only in FSX (other games are fine), TIR5 software will not close down propherly (hangs on shutting down clients) after closing FSX SP2. I did not notice this with default FSX nor with SP1. Happens only with SP2.
The only manner to shut it down is through the taskmanager and even then the green and blue light stay on. The only way to turn these off is to run the TrackIR 5 software again and shut it down again. It will then close propherly. Happens only after shutting down FSX (not always).
Edit: i blame FSX SP2 for this atm and not TrackIR because the jerkyness occurs only after a while and when FSX starts to stutter. It starts to stutter without TrackIR too...
TrackIR 4 sits on a hub on the monitor where it sat when i had XP installed. No problems under XP at all.
