trackir5 no tracking in arma2

i just got a trackir5 and trackclippro, it works fine in the drivers but in arma2 even though both leds are lit there is zero tracking, trackir seems to have been mapped to the controls in arma so i dont get why it isnt working, anyone have a suggestion? i only play arma from the compatible games list so its not much good if it doesnt work in it.

Have you enabled TrackIR in the Arma 2 controller menu?

Under Options -> Controls -> Controller--make sure that TrackIR is enabled.
