				Trackir stutter fix??

I recently upgraded my OS From a Windows XP Professional 32-bit to Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Of course, the first thing I wanted to install was Flight Simulator X.
I started to notice lagging movements that seemed to increase the more i moved my head. Obviously i looked around many forums for a fix, and i think i may of found one (at least it works for me).
I downloaded the freeware bloom mod called ENB Series, and it contained a "how to install" file, and and config file, and a d3d9.dll. After extracting these to my FSX folder, I now have no lag whatsoever. I don't know if this is down to the mod itself, or the d3d9.dll was supposed to be in the FSX folder anyway.
I hope some others try this, and please let me know if it helps

For some unknown reason, it's stuttering again. I uninstalled windows 7 and reinstalled XP, and it's working fine now, so it's obviously a OS problem.
I've noticed that if I open another window, the stuttering goes away, but if I clicked back to FSX it stutters again. I've also noticed that if I change views in FSX the stuttering gets worse, and then goes away for about 2 minutes, before returning.
In XP my FPS is usually fine, (fixed at 60), but in windows 7 the frame rate is severely reduced. I've tried changing my settings, reinstalling FSX, reinstalling the Trackir software, changing between windowed mode and fullscreen, but nothing seems to work.
Also, I have noticed that my CPU is never at 100%, yet the stutters continue.
Specs:
Motherboard: Gigabyte M61PME-S2
CPU: AMD 7850 Black Edition 3.2 Ghz OC
2GB RAM
GRFX Card: Nvidia Geforce 9600GT 1GB
OS...undecided, due to this problem with FSX. I like windows 7, but I love flying too

I've lost count how many times I have change my OS this month.

Have you looked at adjusting the video card drivers, turning off things like anti-aliasing, etc.

Okay, I have just reinstalled, again, .. and everything seems well so far. I'm using a previous version of the Trackir software (4.1.037), and I have not run into any problems yet. I'm going to try and install my usual mods and addons, and see what happens, will keep you posted.

I have installed REX and unchecked the DXT5 Optimized Clouds Option, and everything seems to run fine, if it's checked, it starts to stutter.

I cannot run the program, the exe only opens a box with some options, and when I check any of them, it hangs.-
I tried both 41036 and 41037 software.-
I have no problem loading the TIR 5 software instead.-

I can see the following labels: File, View, Options, Tools, Update and Help.-
When a I check any of them, the program crashes.-
