Any One have success using wide angle lens to enhance there capture volume. Does it make a significant amount of difference? Does it affect your data?

I upgraded to wide-angle lenses in a 14'x14' 8-camera setup, and they made a significant difference--not huge, but I probably gained an extra foot or so all around.

It is always a trade off, more capture volume, less resolution. We have found that as long as you keep the balance correct, meaning you are not using the wide lenses in a huge volume, you will get enhanced capture volume and your resolution will be fine.
