The line seems to be that EZDok and TrackIR 3 (software version 4) do not work together... as far as I can tell. However, I seem to have stumbled upon something by dumb luck. If you start TIR and then FSX with EZDok, it's a complete mess. If you start FSX with EZDok, go flying, tab out and then start TIR, then everything is well and good... at least for me.
So, if you are a TrackIR (hardware version 3, software version 4) user and have had to give up either TrackIR to use EZDok or vice versa, give this a try and see if it works for you.
