TrackClip Pro manufacturing delays

After waiting three weeks for delivery, I contacted NaturalPoint and was told that there was a backlog in the manufacturing process. Now I think I know why...
Yesterday I accidentally brushed my hand against the LED arm when removing the headset, breaking it so it hung loosely from the wires. This was 2 weeks after delivery (which in turn was 8 weeks after ordering it). On examination, it is a flimsy, poorly designed attachment that is bound to be damaged in the course of normal handling.
If NaturalPoint is replacing broken units, this would explain why there is a backlog in production. Are they replacing more units than they are producing?
Not a happy customer.
PS I note that under my username on the left I am a "stranger". If this is the quality of the hardware, then I am likely to remain a stranger.
